What we think of the Idle Rocks Hotel in St Mawes:
The Idle Rocks Hotel in St Mawest is definitely one of our all-time-favourite hotels! The public areas are delightful - comfy sofas, luxurious decor and fires in winter. The views are stunning - there's nothing between the hotel and the sea, and in the Winter you can sit in the warmth of this lovely hotel and watch the waves splash up against the sea wall in front. The restaurant serves great food, with a good local content. We do think it's worth paying the extra for a sea-facing room at the Idle Rocks - you won't be disappointed!
