Luxury and style in Devon's premier estuary town
The Dart Marina Hotel is one of Dartmouth's premier hotels, and has benefited from massive investment in recent years to create a fresh, contemporary, luxurious hotel overlooking the magnificent Dart Estuary.
We've not stayed here yet, so can't offer a personal opinion, but we do know that the Dart Marina has an excellent reputation for its accommodation and its River Restaurant.
The spa at the Dart Marina Hotel offers a pool, spa bath, steam room, and a range of spa treatments.
Dartmouth itself is a delightful town, fronting onto the River Dart. The town has a range of independent shops (we particularly enjoy the book shops in Dartmouth, which have a distinctly nautical bias), some jolly pubs, and a couple of fine restaurants. In the warmer months there are boat trips to enjoy from the quayside, and whatever the weather you'll find plenty of lovely walks (for a pleasant stroll, take the Higher Ferry from just outside the Dart Marina Hotel, and walk along the East bank of the Dart down to Kingswear, and back across the Lower Ferry to Dartmouth).
