What we think:
We can't offer a personal view as we've not stayed at this hotel, but we know and like Woolacombe a lot (especially a bit out of season) and the Watersmeet we understand to be a comfortable, traditional hotel. The hotel is slightly out of Woolacombe, in a spectacular spot with direct access to the beach.
