Hidden away in the heart of Cornwall is a den of excitement known as Adrenalin Quarry.

Firstly, it's a spectacular spot. A huge (really huge!) quarry dug out of the base rock of Cornwall, surrounded by ancient woodlands, and with a deep, glassy lake at the bottom.

But the owners have created something very special out of this amazing quarry.

For a quick blast of adrenalin, there's the UK's biggest zip wire. 490 metres long, 50 metres high, and offering breathtaking speeds of up to 40mph high above the quarry's lake. It looks scary, but the professional team will make you feel safe and secure, lashing you into an industrial-strength harness for your adrenalin-inducing ride across the quarry and lake and down to the safety of the quarry floor. Try it once - and you'll definitely want to go back for another go!

Alternatively you can skim across the lake itself on a twin-engine single-seat hovercraft, surrounded by the towering quarry face. Naturally there is a full briefing and a safety equipment to make your hovercraft experience both safe and fun.

We reckon that Adrenalin Quarry is a great place for bit of family fun, but also ideal for stag and hen parties or even a bit of corporate awayday bonding.
